How Redmark Fire Limited handles personal data collected through this website.

Who we are

Redmark Fire Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17461205. For anything relating to your data, contact info@redmarkfire.co.uk.

What we collect, and why

If you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, company, email address, telephone number, site postcode, the service you are enquiring about and anything you write in the message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and, if it progresses, to quote and carry out the work.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have asked us to get in touch about a service we provide, and we cannot respond without these details. Where an enquiry becomes a job, we process the same data to perform our contract with you.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and are used to keep the site secure and working.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing. It is held in our email and our hosting provider’s systems. Where a job requires it, we may share relevant details with a subcontractor or supplier working on that job, and no more than is needed.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within 12 months. Where an enquiry becomes a job, we keep the records for as long as we are required to for the building’s fire safety records and for our legal and insurance obligations, which is normally at least six years from completion.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress may set a small number of functional cookies if you interact with the site; these do not identify you to third parties.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email info@redmarkfire.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page.
